Organised by the amazing @theweddingindex, this Sussex winter themed wedding shoot was all about capturing the magic of the Christmas season with a team of incredible Sussex creatives.
With twinkling fairy lights, glowing candles, and a beautifully decorated tree, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect at @chichesterharbourhotel bring this vision to life.
The Look & Feel
Picture this: a stunning staircase draped in lush greenery, soft florals, and flickering candlelight. Add in a gorgeous bride and groom models @e.forsythmodel and @leejohn88—and it’s the Christmas wedding of dreams!
The bride wore not one but two incredible gowns from @avenue51bridal:
The First Dress: Pure luxury and elegance! This gown was perfect for that grand, show stopping entrance classic, timeless, and simply stunning.
The Second Dress: For the evening look, it was all about sparkle and glamour. The dress shimmered with every move, making it the perfect choice for a festive celebration.
Paired with elegant gloves, beautiful jewellery from @r.l.austen, and a timeless tuxedo from @charlesgaleformalwear, the couple looked straight out of a winter wonderland.
Lets talk Makeup
I created a soft, glowing look for the bride during the day natural, radiant, and timeless. As we moved into the evening, we turned up the glamour with shimmering eyes and bold red lips to match the festive vibe. It’s all about that seamless day to night transition while keeping the bride looking effortlessly beautiful!
And let’s not forget the hair @natashachanelhair styled those soft, romantic waves that were just the icing on the cake.

@trulamarieslittlecakecompany outdid themselves with a festive yet elegant design that tied in beautifully with the theme. It looked almost too good to eat almost!
The Décor
The incredible team at @hireyourday created the most stunning setup for this shoot. The staircase was magical, but the banquet table? Absolutely dreamy! It was overflowing with candles, creating the cozy glow and the perfect setting for a festive feast. Paired with breathtaking florals by @sussexfarmhouseflowers and gorgeous stationery by @charlottewakefordstationery, every detail was on point.
A Magical Touch
One of the most unique and exciting parts of the shoot was the owls from @csr_falconry Yes, actual owls were the ring bearers, and they added such a magical, unforgettable element to the day. They were such a wow factor and made the whole shoot feel like something straight out of a fairytale.
