Today I got to experience the first HMUA portfolio day with Rosebud Makeup & Beauty! I had the most incredible day, I would 100% recommend to any makeup artists or hair stylists looking to grow or expand their business in the bridal industry. It was an amazing group of people, from meeting other makeup artists and hairstylists, the knowledge from Becky herself, the amazing Toni shooting for us and all the other suppliers who helped make this day magical. Becky went above and beyond for all of us to create the day of dreams and it was honestly more than I could’ve hoped for, being surrounded by other creatives with a passion as big as my own was truly inspiring, I got some amazing content of my own and cannot wait to get the professional photos back!

Becky’s portfolio day was absolutely wonderful. The planning of this day was very well thought out with beautiful models and a great venue with perfect lighting, meaning I could turn up and get creative. Becky had created the perfect space for us to work on our signature looks and get fantastic portfolio content. The day was relaxed and comfortable, Becky is very welcoming and being in the industry herself, very knowledgable on what is needed to created the perfect bridal hair and makeup portfolio days. She had thought of everything and included everyone, even collaborating with other vendors in the wedding industry to offer the finishing touches to our vision. From having met Becky through a hair & makeup group (virtually), she was promoting a portfolio day especially designed around hair & makeup artists concentrating on getting those all important shots we as HMUA's never get when we are doing weddings. From the get go Becky explained the content of the day how was going to work and who was involved. We were provided with a top class photographer (cuttlebone photography), 2 gorgeous bouquets, hair accessories, content creator, wedding gowns, lunch & the most amazing models!! This is a must for any HMUA wanting to up their game. Highly recommended! Becky made me feel very welcome (I was so nervous). Communication was spot on with the lead up to the day, fantastic day !!
